Firefighting truck stolen with wildland equipment inside
Portland police are asking the public to help recover stolen firefighting equipment.
A firefighter intending to battle a wildfire blaze had his truck and equipment stolen from the fire house on Northeast Sandy Boulevard over the July 17-18 weekend.
There was more than $5,000 worth of wildland fire equipment inside the truck. Without the equipment, the firefighter won't be able to go help battle wildland fires.
The truck is a 2003 F-350 Super Duty.
Police say to contact them if you see the truck.
