Three wounded in Lloyd District
The local surge in shootings continued early Sunday when three people were wounded outside a bar in the Lloyd District.
The names of the victims were not released, no one was arrested, and no suspect information was available, either.
The incident followed a shooting in Northwest Portland on Sept. 25 where one people was killed and two were wounded.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, officers responded to a report of the most recent shooting just after 2 a.m. Sept. 26. They arrived to find three people with gunshot wounds outside a bar near the corner of Northeast Broadway and 14th Avenue.
All three victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive, police said.
The shooter or shooters left before police were called. Authorities asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact them email and reference Case No. 21-268543.
In the Friday shooting, Jacob Knight-Vasquez, 34, was killed when someone fired shots into the Silver Dollar Pizza at Northwest 21st Avenue and Glisan Street. Police do not believe he was the intended victim. The names of the two people who were wounded have not been released. No one has been arrested and no suspect information is available.
