'Armed and dangerous': 2 women bolt from prison in Salem
Two women housed at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility fled the Oregon Department of Corrections Commissary Facility in Salem on Oct. 11 and "should be considered armed and dangerous" according to a department release.
At around 9:10 a.m., Brandy Woodward and Shelly Radan "walked away from an onsite work crew" and had been seen traveling on Amber Street advancing toward Dick's Sporting Goods. Woodward was said to be wearing blue jeans with "inmate" stenciled on her knee, a blue shirt and a sweatshirt. She has blue eyes and blonde hair. Radan has brown hair and brown eyes. Both women are slated for release no earlier than 2024.
The Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the Oregon State Police are investigating the escape. Those who think they see Woodward or Radan are advised not to approach and to call 911 or the Oregon State Police at 1-800-452-7888. Others with information should contact OSP, the Fugitive Apprehension Unit at 503-569-0734 or their local police department's non-emergency line.
