Suspects who shot at Portland police arrested
The couple suspected of shooting at Portland police were arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at an apartment in the 600 block of Northeast 101st Avenue.
Christian Daniel Fitz-Henry is charged with attempted murder in the first degree and unlawful use of a weapon.
Alicia Misner is charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and attempt to elude.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, on Saturday, Nov. 13, officers tried to stop a car at Northeast 92nd Avenue and Halsey Street that they believed had a wanted suspect inside. The driver hit the gas instead and tried to outrun police. Spike strips soon flattened their tires, and they stopped near Northeast 104th and Halsey.
Shots were fired at this location, and one bullet hit the side view mirror of a police vehicle. The pair managed to escape the perimeter that was set up.
Authorities believe Fitz-Henry was the passenger in the stolen car Misner was driving.
