The name of the victim who died early Wednesday, Jan. 13 was not immediately released.

The names of the victims were not immediately released.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, the first investigation began around 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 12 when police received a report of a person down at North Denver Avenue just south of the I-5 overpass. When officers arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene. The victim sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The second investigation began at 5:54 a.m. on Jan. 13, East Precinct Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Northeast Glisan Street at the on-ramp to I-205 Northbound on the reports that a pedestrian was pinned under a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian was deceased. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The Portland Police Bureau Major Crash Team responded to assume control of the investigation. Glisan was closed from 96th Avenue to 109th Avenue, including the Northbound on-ramp to I-205.
