Vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed to Oregon voters beginning on Wednesday, April 27.

PMG FILE PHOTO - Vote-by-mail ballots are coming soon.Tuesday is the last day to register or change registration to vote in the May 17 primary election. Vote-by-mail ballots will begin being mail to Oregon voters on Wednesday.

Here are some of the key dates in this year's primary election:

• April 26: Last day to register to vote (or to change registration). Available online at

• April 27: Ballots mailed to registered voters

• April 28: Pamplin Media Group livestream candidate forum, noon-1 p.m. available at KOIN 6/PMG candidate debate at 7 p.m.

• April 28: Responses from governor candidates to media collaboration will be available online at The Oregon League of Women Voters also has candidate responses (including 22 gubernatorial hopefuls) available at

• May 3: KOIN 6/PMG Democratic gubernatorial debate at 7 p.m.

• May 17: Last day for a ballot to be postmarked (new this year) or delivered to a drop box (by 8 p.m.)
