Current Metro Principal Management auditor receives 80% of the vote for the city position.

COURTESY: CITY OF PORTLAND - Portland City HallMetro Principal Management Auditor Simone Rede was elected Portland City Auditor in the May 17 primary election.

Rede won the election with 80% of the vote in the early results. He reports raising raising $15,821 so far.

The only other candidate in the race, Certified Public Accountant Brian Setzler, had 20% of the vote. He has raised $10,361.

Incumbent Mary Hull Caballero is not running for reelection.
