The Nov. 10 program includes music and speeches in honor of military veterans who reside in King City.

King City is honoring its local veterans on the Sunday before Veterans Day.

There will be a community celebration to say "thank you" to those who served at the King City Civic Association Clubhouse, from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday, Nov. 10.

Speakers will honor King City veterans. A trumpet player will also sound "Reveille" and "Taps." Military branch songs will be sung as well.

Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms and medals and bring photos and other memorabilia, if they would like to.

The community at large is invited to celebrate King City's veterans and participate in the event. Call Paul Hailey at 503-620-2161, Billie Reynolds at 503-639-7452 or Jaimie Fender at 503-747-8241 for more information.

The KCCA Clubhouse is located at 15245 S.W. 116th Ave. in King City.
