Forest Grove Mayor Pete Truax will speak at the next Washington County Public Affairs Forum.

The luncheon will start at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, and the program at noon, at Coyote's Bar and Grill, 5301 W. Baseline Road, Hillsboro. Lunch may be ordered from the menu.

Truax, who has been mayor since October 2009, will talk about the city in advance of his state of the city remarks.

His appearance will begin a series by mayors. Beaverton's Denny Doyle will speak Feb. 10, and Tualatin's Frank Bubenik will speak Feb. 17. Others will be announced.
