Over two weeks, calls include: drinking beer that hadn't been paid for, a ditched vehicle and a suspect's surrender.

Tuesday, Nov. 10

Police were dispatched to a theft in progress at Arco. Two females took beer, drank it and left on foot. Police caught up to the females and cited both of them with a court date in lieu of going to jail on the charge of theft in the third degree.

Sunday, Nov. 15

Police took a call of an abandoned car. Police discovered it was a stolen vehicle, dumped on King Charles Avenue. Police contacted the owner and he came and got it. It was drivable.

Monday, Nov. 16

While on routine patrol, police made contact with a transient in the area. The transient had two felony arrest warrants. He was cited with a court date in lieu of going to jail.

Monday, Nov. 23

Police took a call from a man who wanted to turn himself in on an outstanding arrest warrant. Police met up with him and placed him under arrest and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
