Cleveland High's victory in wrestling, with Franklin runner-up, means Southeast dominates wrestling

Cleveland High School has won its 7th consecutive PIL wrestling title.

The CHS wrestling team continued its dominance of the Portland Interscholastic League, as it won individual titles in seven weight classes, and coasted to victory in the district tournament on Saturday, February 3, at Marshall High School.

The Warriors totaled 355.5 points, but notably, the other Inner Southeast high school came in second -- Franklin High School, which finished with 257.
