A H B talk – "Web Writing for Non-Writers": Ah, the World Wide Web. It's such a good marketing opportunity. No business should be without some Web presence, right? Right. And now you're on the hook to write a blurb about your business – and you're not a writer! Don't panic. "Web Writing for Non-Writers" is for you. In this hands-on workshop, a professional writer – Lura Frazey – will guide you through composing a page of web copy that describes how you help your clients and why they should call you instead of your competition. You will leave the workshop with your web content written, proofread, and ready to be published. Plan to attend. Each monthly AHB meeting includes dinner and a program on the third Thursday of each month – 6-9 p.m., at SMILE Station, S.E. 13th at Tenino Street, one block south of Tacoma, in Sellwood. First-time guests pay the members' reduced door fee of $10, which includes the buffet supper. Call 503/232-2326 to RSVP, please, for meal planning; include any food restrictions.
