Man wounded on 68th in Foster-Powell shooting
In the wee hours of Sunday morning, December 20, shots were heard at the intersection of S.E. 68th Avenue and Powell Boulevard, bringing East Precinct officers and emergency medical first-responders into the area at 12:57 a.m.
"Officers located an adult male victim who had been shot multiple times," said Portland Police spokesperson Officer Derek Carmon about the incident. "The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries."
Startlingly, this appeared to be a completely random shooting, Officer Carmon told THE BEE. "There is no indication that the victim had any reason to be targeted."Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please call the Portland Police at 503/823-3333, and reference case #20-374685.
