Arrest in Creston-Kenilworth quadruple murder
The gruesome discovery of four men lying murdered inside a Creston-Kenilworth house in the 4000 block of S.E. Boise Street, on June 6th of last year, left the whole neighborhood on edge.
The following day, officials announced to the press that the deaths of 31-year-old Mitchell Nacoste, 27-year-old Kendall Gragg, 24-year-old Donovan Lenford, and 23-year-old Eyion Willis had all been ruled "homicide by gunshot".
After that, surprisingly little additional information was forthcoming about the horrific crime. And there were no further public updates on this case from the Portland Police Bureau for nine long months. Then, on Wednesday, March 2nd, a Police spokesperson announced that an arrest had been made in this case – in Texas.
"Portland Police Detectives worked with the Denton County (Texas) Sheriff's Office's Special Operations/Warrant Division, as well as with the U.S. Marshals East Texas Fugitive Task Force, to arrest 27-year-old Jeremy Michael Lenoire in Frisco, Texas, in connection with these homicides," the spokesperson said.
By then, Lenoire had already been indicted on multiple counts of Murder in the Second Degree, Robbery in the First Degree, and Burglary in the First Degree. He is still behind bars in the Denton County Jail, pending extradition from Texas to Oregon. If you have information about this case that you have not yet shared with the police, you're asked to call Detective Michael Greenlee at 503/823-0871, or by sending an email to – This email address is being protected from spambots.
