SW Trails run through Gabriel Park
Gabriel Park is best appreciated while walking.
The SW Trails hike for November will wander through the Raz-Baack Crossing off Southwest Bertha, Multnomah Village, the Woods Park Natural Area off Southwest Taylors Ferry Road as well as Gabriel Park.
Hikers will meet behind the bleachers at Wilson High School adjacent to the Hillsdale Food Cart Park at 9 a.m. It will be about a three hour 6.5-mile hike with a few moderate hills along the way. There will be a stop at the Multnomah Arts Center on the return trek to Hillsdale. SW Trails warns that in November the weather can be unpredictable so dress accordingly. If you wish to bring your dog along, he or she will have to be on a leash.
SW Trails is the volunteer organization responsible for building and maintaining trails indicated by the brown trail signs seen around Southwest Portland. They organize monthly hikes and shorter strolls.
