Alpenrose and Easterseals Oregon team up for Bloomfest, selling home-delivered tulips

Alpenrose and Easterseals Oregon are teaming up once again for Bloomfest, a critical fundraising event that benefits homeless veterans.

PHOTO COURTESY: EASTERSEALS OREGON - This year, 100% of proceeds from Bloomfest tulip sales through Easterseals will benefit veterans in need.With the purchase of Bloomfest tulip bouquets from the Wooden Shoe Tulip farm in Woodburn, flowers will be delivered to customers' homes via Alpenrose Home Delivery from April 1 to 15, with proceeds paying for the delivery of fresh, local groceries to veterans who are placed in homes with the help of Easterseals.

This year, 100% of tulip sale proceeds through Alpenrose Home Delivery will support housing assistance for Veterans experiencing homelessness. 

"Veterans experiencing homelessness need trained, caring, solution-focused professionals who can help them overcome barriers to housing and employment," Kristen Rantz, interim CEO of Easterseals Oregon, said. "We owe a debt of gratitude to Alpenrose and to their customers for stepping up to help bring
