Emerson College

Melissa Leslie of Portland has been named to the Dean's List at Emerson College for the spring 2017 semester. Eligible students must have a GPA of 3.7 or higher.

Cornell College

Evan Hanau of Portland was among the 216 students who graduated from Cornell College on May 14. Hanau majored in Individual Data Science, Psychology & Gamification.

Portland native Ingrid Myers was named to the college's Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester.

Graceland University

Portland resident Bryn Lilson graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Graceland University. She was also named to the university's Dean's List for the 2017 spring semester. Students must receive a GPA between 3.25 and 3.64 to qualify.

Phi Kappa Phi

The following Portland natives were initiated into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi at Portland State University: Abbie Faingold, Auburn Beebe, Austin Powell, Bryan Schreiner, Charlie Sheese, Eva Veazie-Glass, Jenny Blenk, Kelsey Takahashi, Margaret Cochrane and Robert Wilson.

Agnes Gantz was initiated into the honor society at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Emporia State University

Portland resident Joaquin Sampson graduated from Emporia State University with a Master of Library Science degree.

Wesleyan University

Julian Dann of Portland graduated from Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degreee in Astronomy and Physics. He received High Honors in Astronomy.

Colgate University

Isabelle Berre of Portland recently graduated from Colgate University with a degree in Economics.

Ohio Wesleyan University

Jase Jacobson of Portland has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester at Ohio Wesleyan University.

University of San Diego

Portland native Adam Winterling graduated from the University of San Diego on May 28 with a degree in Finance.

University of Vermont

Laura Satchwell of Portland graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Community & International Development from the University of Vermont on May 21.
