With over 35 years' experience in early childhood development, Julia's educational background includes accreditations from the following programs: UCLA's Early Childhood Advancement Core, Santa Monica's Diversity and PSU's Communication & Human Development.

Julia has worked for the City of Portland, the State of Oregon and while at Head Start partnered and instructed pre-kindergarten students for kindergarten readiness in all the areas of literacy and social emotional education. For the last 10 years, Julia works as a PSU Oregon Registry Community Trainer bringing workshops to the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children and Central Oregon Community College. Julia trains and mentors educational professionals in the areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Creative Wellness workshops.

Julia strives to motivate students by modeling an inspired, positive outlook to education every day. With an early childhood focus on developmental environments, she supports the beginning writer, reader, and public speaker. She

believes exploring enriched environments fosters deep knowledge — Our curriculum and planning are inspired by the teachings of Maria Montessori & Loris Malaguzzi the founder of Reggio Emilia.
