It's May and we are starting to get pretty busy. Let me tell you about the cedar product line.

In years past, the only available cedar decking was Western red cedar, which can be pretty expensive depending on the grade. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are offering other options. For decking, we now carry Port Orford cedar from Southern Oregon and incense cedar from the valley starting at $1.05/ft. It's a little lighter and wider than Western red cedar, but it looks good and has more tanner in it which makes it last longer than the western red cedar at about half the cost.

For fencing, we carry rustic number three, number two, dog-eared, straight-fence boards, sixes and eights with sizes from 1x4 to 1x6.

We also carry a full line of cedar trim anywhere from 2x2 cedar to 1x10 and 1x12 plus all the cedar sidings.

Along with that, we carry deck stains and cleaners and rough cedar for garden boxes and landscaping selling from $1.99-$2.49/ft. and we will cut to size.

Remember landscaping products like fertilizers, soil supplements, bark dust and cedar mulch for your yard or garden. We also carry two major displays of seeds for flowers and vegetables-Ed Hume and non-gmo Botanical Interests. It's fun to imagine what your garden can look like.

If you need plywoods and green dimensional lumber, it is still reasonably priced.

Remember, we deliver. We deliver to Clatskanie to Skyland to Vernonia and Sauvie Island. Stop by Dahlgren's Do-It-Best today and let's get your spring projects started.
