Dahlgren's: Thank you, customers!
Dahlgren's Do-It-Best is a part of a co-op and I received a letter from the CEO, Dan Starr, of the Do-It-Best family. He speaks about what we have all seen in the last couple months: countless changes, big changes, game-changer changes with people being quarantined and businesses closed.
Our industry was deemed an essential one, so our business was able to stay open, but we had to pick up the pace and learn how to navigate with new safety protocols and issues with the supply chain. Now that we have learned our "new normal," we have time to reflect. We are still facing difficulties with the supply chain at times and we have worked hard to keep products coming into Dahlgren's. We will endeavor to keep being successful. And once we get through this, it will be a good time to see what we have done right and what we could have improved upon.
As a community, we have always had problems, whether it's a fire or a flood or even the Columbus Day storm. We get through it and come out stronger for it. We will get through this, too.
I've had customers tell me, "Eric, we are sure glad you are open to help us with our projects." And I appreciate all the support from our loyal customers. I'm thankful that we are getting through this together, because it's all over the country and the world.
But wow, it's been a crazy 60 days ...
