Summer break is over and school can be stressful. Homework, school supplies, maybe a child in a new school, new friends, different classrooms- it's all stressful Research shows that chronic stress can affect our wellbeing both emotionally and physically. Stress affects our flight/fight response as well as metabolic, cardiovascular and immune systems. Stress can and does have long term consequences on our health.
