Macular Regeneration Clinic a success in St. Helens
It was with great pleasure that two visiting Norwegian acupuncture eye specialists were at Pinpoint Acupuncture Clinic in St. Helens in April. We conducted a special training and eye clinic that was fabulous. We treated retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration (wet and dry), dry eyes and just your normal, average poor vision.
Everybody had a wonderful time exchanging ideas, educating each other and treating a range of eye conditions. My clinic has formed a partnership agreement with the St. Olav Clinic of Norway, and next year we plan to take patients from America to
China for additional eye care.
The program at Pinpoint Acupuncture Clinic is based on the idea that not only do we need to treat your eyes, but also your whole body. Usually there are other systemic issues affecting your eyes that need to be addressed.
It is our mission and goal to find and identify the underlying causes of your eye condition.
I use a unique and special type of acupuncture called AcuNova and other "micro systems" of acupuncture to fix these issues.
To be clear: No needles are ever placed in your eyes, and usually people will notice a visual difference with 1-2 treatments.
Yes, it's that quick and amazing.
I also strongly suggest nutrition, education, eye exercises, eye massagers and herbal supplements.
My vision repair program is a 10-day intensive treatment and education event. It is very comprehensive, therapeutic and enjoyable!
The program is appropriate for wet or dry macular degeneration, Stargardt Disease, retinitis pigmentosa, macular pucker (epiretinal membrane) and diabetic retinopathy.
Other vision conditions including glaucoma, uveitis (iritis), conjunctivitis, and post-herpetic eye pain, dry mouth and dry eye conditions are treated as well, but with a slightly different treatment program.
It is with great gratitude and appreciation that Erik and OJ, both true acupuncture masters, were present to assist, guide, educate and elucidate me as an acupuncture eye specialist. My
Thanks goes out to my two friends and colleges in Norway at the St. Olav Eye Clinic of Norway.
