Want to support your alma mater and root for the Indians? Scappoose High homecoming week is Oct. 9 to 12.

SPOTLIGHT PHOTO: JAKE MCNEAL - Scappoose High homecoming week is Oct. 9-12. Scappoose High School leadership students are planning events for the Disney-themed homecoming week, from Oct. 9 to 12.

While many events will be planned for students, several events are also planned for the public.

On Wednesday, Oct. 11, an assembly will be held following the varsity volleyball game against Valley Catholic High School at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $3 for students, $5 for adults.

The short homecoming parade will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, from 2 to 3 p.m. The parade route starts at the high school in the upper parking lot, heads east on High School Way, proceeds north onto 5th Street and then west onto Southeast Vine Street, where parade participants can be viewed by Grant Watts and Petersen elementary school students. The parade then returns to the high school parking lot.

The homecoming football game is scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m.
