Maintenance on Highway 30 near Astoria scheduled later this month; flaggers will direct traffic

Westbound lanes of Highway 30 near Astoria will be closed later this month while Oregon Department of Transportation crews perform maintenance on the highway.

Highway 30, near milepost 95.6 at the east end of Astoria, will be closed intermittently over the next two weeks, according to a release from ODOT.

Work is scheduled on January 11 and 12 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and January 16-20. The westbound lane of the highway will be closed and flaggers will be in the area controlling two-way traffic.

Local access will be maintained, but travelers should expect delays in the area, the release added.
