St. Helens High School choir earns second place at NWOC League Championships

SPOTLIGHT PHOTO: NICOLE THILL - The St. Helens High School choir, Chor Leonis.The St. Helens High School choir, Chor Leonis, earned a second-place title at the Northwest League Championships held Tuesday, April 10, at Sandy High School. The choir has performed at three other festivals this year, earning sufficient socres to qualify them for pool selection to compete at the Oregon State Activities Association choir championships in early May. To earn a place at state, the choir will have its audition tapes adjudicated by an out-of-state judge. In May, the choir will also be traveling to perform at various festivals.
