St. Helens police request info from graffiti victims
St. Helens police are seeking more nformation from the public regarding a series of graffiti cases.
iThe St. Helens Police Department has identified a 22-year-old suspect in connection with multiple graffiti cases which have taken place over several years and SHPD is asking for other victims to report other instances that may be related.
Over several years, the suspect who was not identified by name in the release, is believed to have used tags throughout the city including PORK, PORCUS, GESS, P.S.V., C.M.S., and CMS. Some graffiti also includes the use of U.S. Postal Service stickers on street signs and other locations. Tags have often been completed in permanent marker, spray paint or regular marker.
The suspect in the case has been linker to other criminal mischief cases, the SHPD release adds.
Individuals who may be victims, should contact SHPD on the non-emergency dispatch line, 503-397-1521. Victims should have photos of the graffiti available along with an estimate of damages and cost of cleanup. SHPD Officers Dylan Gaston, Jamin Coy and Anthony Boswell are handling the case.
