T-bone crash sends three people to Portland area hospital; Oregon State Police investigating

A two-vehicle crash at Highway 30 and Church road in Warren sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries on Wednesday night, Jan. 2.

Columbia River Fire and Rescue and Scappoose Fire District were called to the scene at 5:48 p.m. when a t-bone crash was reported.

Emergency crews extracted two people from the vehicles using hydraulic extraction tools, according to information from CRFR.

A total of three people were injured in the crash and were transported to Portland area trauma hospitals.

Highway 30 was closed for closed for some time following the crash and emergency responders were urging drivers to find alternate routes. As of 7:35 p.m. Wednesday night, OSP reported the highway was open and the scene had been cleared.

OSP troopers are handling the investigation. As of 8 p.m. Wednesday night, limited information was available about the crash. More information will be published as it becomes available.
