Scappoose High School is under the sea
Scappoose High School students will debut their spring musical production of "The Little Mermaid" this week. The stage adaptation of the Disney film written by playwright Doug Wright and composer Alan Menken tells the story of a mermaid in love with a human man, who longs to live above the water. Showings of the musical will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday to Saturday, April 25-27, with a matinèe at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
