Students at Sauvie Island Academy prepare to dunk one of their teachers in an outdoor water tank on Wednesday, April 24. Students have been helping fund raise for the school through an ongoing brick sale event and, last week, students in each grade level who were able to raise the most money had the opportunity to throw softballs at the dunk tank lever and soak their teachers. Personalized bricks are being sold to benefit the charter school in an ongoing fundraiser effort. The bricks will then be installed near the school's new Joyce Miller Owens Middle School Annex. More information about the fundraiser is available here.
