Betty Stuber was recognized as the Columbia County RSVP Volunteer of the Month for May.

Stuber was recognized for her volunteer work at McBride Elementary School. She was initially selected for the honor last November, but was unable to participate due to an injury. She regularly volunteers at the school foe more than six hours a day and is working to return to the same volunteering level as she recovers.

On May 23, Stuber returned to the school to attend a school volunteer reception. That's when RSVP recognized Stuber as the RSVP Volunteer of the Month.
