Man arrested for food cart theft
A Deer Island man was arrested in Beaverton after he was caught burglarizing a food cart in the area, according to Beaverton Police.
Dylan Graham Hogge, 26, of Deer Island, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, after the owner of a food cart in the BG Food Cartel pod reported someone was inside his business. The owner was able to see Hogge via video from a surveillance system.
Law enforcement located Hogge walking away from the food cart after the report was made. Officers found Hogge in possession of stolen money from the burglary, and also located a pair of discarded gloves and a bandanna that Hogge wore to conceal his identity, a press release from Beaverton Police Department explained.
