St. Helens police search for man suspected of shooting two in Cowlitz Street residence

COURTESY PHOTO: ST. HELENS POLICE DEPARTMENT - Adam Corey FlemingSt. Helens police are requesting help in locating a man suspected of shooting two people on the night of June 2. Police responded to reports of shots fired at a residence on Cowlitz Street, St. Helens.

The suspect, Adam Corey Fleming, fled the scene of the shooting in a white 1993 Toyota Camry station wagon with Oregon plate 427EQV.

The two victims are expected to survive. One victim was shot in the arm, while the other was shot multiple times in his lower body and had to be airlifted to a hospital for emergency surgery.

A child was in the resident but was not harmed.

Hours after the shooting, Fleming was seen in Clackamas. Fleming is a 31-year-old white male, 5' 11" tall and approximately 280 pounds. He has hazel eyes and is balding.

Police are asking anyone with information about Fleming's whereabouts to call 9-1-1.
