St. Helens Public Library hosts pumpkin painting event; dozens of childnren attend

The St. Helens Public Library hosted a special PMG PHOTO: NICOLE THILL-PACHECO - Seven-year-old Alexis Menendez carefully swipes a paintbrush loaded with neon pink paint onto her pumpkin. In addition to coloring the shell, Menedez also decorated the stem of her gourd at the library event. event on Friday, Oct. 25 where children could attend and paint pumpkins. Around 25 people showed up the event. Many of the children who painted pumpkins selected a variety of colors, patterns and designs for their painted pumpkins.
