State studying broadband access, use; public input requested via online survey

PMG PHOTO: ANNA DEL SAVIO - Equipment for the cooperative internet service network in Clatskanie runs using Althea software.Earlier this month, Business Oregon announced a new study of broadband throughout the state. Business Oregon, the state's economic development agency, has contracted with Strategic Networks Group to assess the state's "current broadband infrastructure and service availability."

To share information about your current internet service, how you use the internet, and what changes you'd like to see, take the online survey.

Households and businesses or organizations are encouraged to participate. Input must be received by Dec. 15.
