Columbia Community Mental Health hires new director
Columbia Community Mental Health announced that Todd Jacobson will take over in the next month as the agency's new executive director.
Jacobson will replace interim executive director Linda Prichett.
Jacobson, who was selected by CCMH's Board of Directors, is a licensed clinical social worker who most recently served as director of operations and corporate compliance for Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. GOBHI provides mental healthcare for Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid recipients in eastern Oregon. He also previously served as clinical services manager for Mid-Columbia Center from Living, the designated behavioral health agency for Hood River, Sherman and Wasco counties.
"Jacobson steps into his new role with proven skills to develop policy and procedure that fosters inclusion, stability and integrity," a statement from CCMH read. "CCMH believes Jacobson will bring his talent of strategic planning and transparent communication to our community."
Prichett, who worked in CCMH leadership for years, was appointed interim director in February.
She replaced Julia Jackson, who was fired in February after less than two years as executive director. The previous director, Roland Migchielsen, had served for 11 years before his retirement in 2018.
