Friday, March 26

Police arrested a 31-year-old Scappoose man, on an outstanding warrant out of St. Helens. He was transported to jail and lodged on the warrant.

Sunday, March 28

Police responded to a residence in the 33000 block of Southwest Sequoia Street to the report of a domestic incident. Following the investigation, it was determined that a 63-year-old Scappoose man had grabbed a juvenile by the arm after he thought the juvenile had harmed his dog. The man was issued a citation for harassment.

Monday, March 29

Police received a report of a suspicious male in the area of Southwest Park Drive. After locating the subject, a 51-year-old Scappoose man was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant, Interfering with a police officer and resisting arrest. He was transported to and lodged in the jail.

Tuesday, March 30

Following a traffic stop, a 38-year-old Portland resident was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

Police were dispatched to the report of found property in the 52000 block of Southwest Fourth Street. The subject was reported to have found a small bag with white, crystal-like substance on the street. The property was collected and placed into evidence and will be destroyed.

Wednesday, March 31

Police responded to the report of a theft in the 33000 block of Southwest Everett Way. It was reported that the owner left his vehicle unlocked and items were taken from the vehicle. This case is pending further suspect information.

Thursday, April 1

Following a traffic stop, a 19-year-old Scappoose woman was taken into custody for DUII. She was transported to jail, where she was booked and released on her charge.
