InRoads donates $88,259 to local high schools
InRoads Credit Union recently donated $88,259 to Scappoose, St. Helens and Rainier High Schools for the 2021-22 school year as part of their "Team Up for Schools" program.
Through the "Team Up for Schools" program, InRoads members can use a special high school-themed debit card and InRoads will donate five cents for each transaction.
This year, St. Helens High School received $46,309.60, representing 926,192 transactions. Scappoose High School received $32,026.95 — or more than 640,500 transactions — and Rainier High School received $9,922.60 — or more than 198,400 transactions.
"The Team Up for Schools program has become one of our favorite fundraisers at InRoads," InRoads President/CEO Brooke Van Vleet stated in a press release. "Our members have helped us raise over $234,000 for local high schools over the past four years. We look forward to continuing the program next year and beyond."
InRoads Credit Union was formerly known as St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union. It changed its name as part of a 2018 rebranding campaign.
