Monday, Aug. 2
Officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the 51000 block of Southwest Sixth Street. Following an investigation, a 47-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Clackamas County Circuit Court warrant.
Officers responded to a report of an attempted catalytic converter theft in the 33000 block of Southeast Santosh Street. An unknown suspect tried to cut a part off a vehicle but was not successful.
Wednesday, Aug. 4
Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 33000 block of Southwest Havlik Drive. While a tenant was moving into a residence, two boxes left on the front porch were stolen by unknown suspects.
Officers took a report of a missing person in the 33000 block of Southeast Frederick Street. The subject returned home the next day and the case was closed.
Thursday, Aug. 5
Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 33000 block of Southeast Uhlman Street. A motorist drove his car into a vehicle parked in a driveway, which in turn pushed the vehicle into a residence causing extensive damage. Following an investigation, a 44-year-old Scappoose man was cited for careless driving.
Officers responded to a theft in progress at Fred Meyer, 51501 Columbia River Hwy. It was reported a man was seen putting items in a bag and then tried to return the merchandise for cash. Following an investigation, a 38-year-old Portland man was arrested on two outstanding Washington County felony warrants and cited for theft III.
Officers took a report of a car prowl in the 52000 block of Northeast First Street. An unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole a dash camera.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Columbia River Highway near Scappoose-Vernonia Highway. One driver was cited for failure to carry proof of insurance and failure to carry vehicle registration. There were no injuries.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 34000 block of North Honeyman Road. It was reported an individual was harassing another individual and trying to pick a fight. Following an investigation, a 38-year-old transient man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Sunday, Aug. 8
Officers responded to a report of an attempted catalytic converter theft in the 51000 block of Southeast Second Street. An unknown suspect cut the part off a vehicle but it was left on the ground at the location.
