My Next Step, the resale shop's nonprofit operator, says it will continue serving the community.

My Next Step, a St. Helens nonprofit doing business as the Accumulation Resale Shop, is closing its doors.

The resale shop at 1271 Columbia Blvd. is holding a liquidation sale through Saturday, Dec. 11, to purge its remaining inventory. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

The shop has also been used as a job training site. It has been operating for the past five years at its current location, although My Next Step has been operating for longer as a nonprofit organization, offering job readiness skill training for more than a decade.

"We will miss the people who have donated, shopped and supported our store and mission," said store manager Tina Miller.

My Next Step's executive director, Julie Beehler, said the nonprofit will continue to provide services in St. Helens. Details have yet to be announced.
