And never more than in Week Nine of the 2015 high school football season, as the state's football teams battled their way to league titles, state playoff berths and pride.
Friday night's docket included 25 games at the Class 6A level, while Class 5A teams played in another 16 more, and Class 4A teams geared up for seven Play-In gaes that will set the table for their upcoming state playoffs.
