Volleyball players Johanson-Phillips, Moore led their teams to key league victories

Volleyball

A 6-2 senior, she has been money in the middle of late for the Indians, who won last week against Hillsboro (3-0) and at Milwaukie (3-2). She had three of Scappoose's final eight points of the Milwaukie match with winning swings, and as of this week she had the highest hitting percentage of front-line players on the squad.

Volleyball

In the spring, Moore leads the way for the Lions with her legs and sprinter's speed. This fall, she's been using the spring in her legs and the force from her right arm to produce points on the volleyball court. Her blasts, mostly at the net and in the middle of the court, helped St. Helens sweep league foes Milwaukie and Hillsboro in the past week.
