The Canadians will begin the 2021 season as temporary tenants of Ron Tonkin Field in Hillsboro, which they are sharing with the league rival Hillsboro Hops. Travel restrictions because of the coronavirus pandemic prevent the Canadians from playing home games in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Blue Jays are also temporarily playing home games in the United States, for the second straight season. The Canadians didn't have to deal with travel issues last year because the minor league baseball season was canceled.

The Canadians start the season on the road, opening a six-game series against the Tri-City Dust Devils in Pasco, Washington, on Tuesday, May 4. Their first scheduled homestand will begin Tuesday, May 11, in Hillsboro, when they host the Spokane Indians.

Hillsboro fans may recognize a few of Vancouver's players from past seasons. Brito, De Los Santos, Eden, Morris and Robertson were each in the lineup for at least one game the Canadians played at Ron Tonkin Field in 2019. Caracci and Gillingham also appeared in relief.
