Summer is almost here and coincidentally, June is National Car Month! It's the perfect time to get your ride road-ready for the city streets or a summer road trip. Seasonal service can help prevent repairs and give you the assurance that your car is performing as intended.

Oil and filter

Like peas and carrots, these two go together. Have them changed every 3,000 miles or three months, and before any road trip. It's an important step to keeping the oil free from particles which could damage the engine.

Air conditioning

Gone are the days of 4/50 air conditioning: four windows down going fifty miles an hour. Today's air conditioners are a bit more complicated and may need a dose of low-level refrigerant or a new air conditioning filter to keep the cool air flowing on a hot day.

Cabin air filter

Change the cabin air filter every 12,000 miles-you'll notice an improvement with your car's air: less dust and pollen. You would be shocked with what the cabin air filter catches like dirt, smells and even bugs.

Come in to Sherwood Auto Repair and let us complete a comprehensive inspection to make sure your summertime wheels are good to go. We will check your tires, wipers, fluids, battery, brakes and provide any service to get you on the road to summer fun.
