This will be the burger franchise's eighth location

SUBMITTED PHOTO - This is what one of the Killer Burger specialty burgers looks like. Killer Burger, a local franchise of specialty gourmet hamburgers, has announced plans to move into 2,700-square-foot space at Parkway Village at Sherwood.

The popular restaurant, which has locations in Sellwood, the Hollywood area and the MODA Center, has a tagline touting its burgers for being made of one-third pound of 100-percent beef with each order including French fries. The first Killer Burger opened in the Hollywood area of Portland in 2010 and this will be the company’s eighth location.

The burger chain’s specialties range from a Fun Guy burger (mushrooms, melted Swiss cheese, etc.) to a Peanut-Butter-Pickle-Bacon burger (use your imagination).

Parkway Village at Sherwood is being developed by Gramor Development, whose leasing company is Real Estate Investment Group.
