The Sherwood Police Department is hoping to see 100 donors for Sept. 11 blood drive at the Sherwood Police Department.

GAZETTE FILE PHOTO - The Annual Sept. 11 Police Blood Drive in Sherwood is once again slated for Sept. 11 at the police facility on Borchers Dr. Sign up now by calling 1-800-REDCROSS. There is a very specific group of people out there and this message is just for you. You are those curious people who have always wanted to give blood, but never have. I know you're out there. And I believe there are a whole lot of you.

Once again the Sherwood Police Department is teaming up with the Red Cross for our annual 9/11 Commemorative Blood Drive. And once again we will utilize both the Community Room and a Red Cross Blood Mobile in the police department parking lot so there are opportunities-a-plenty for first-timers as well as all those who already give regularly and faithfully. And once again we will shoot for 100 donations.

And that is where you come in — you specific people who "have always thought about giving blood but never have." We need you!

This is the opportunity you've been waiting for! Because if we are going to exceed our goal of 100 blood donations at a single Drive?

We need you to join all our amazing return donors. So come on! Give it a try! And in so doing, give the gift of life in memory and honor of so many who gave their's on 9/11.

Just call 1-800-REDCROSS and tell them you want to sign up for the Sept. 11 Blood Drive at the Sherwood Police Department. See you there! And thanks so much.
