Sherwood woman named Mrs. Washington County
Sherwood resident Nicola Lewis, a former model, spokesperson, and producer known for using her passion for fashion and experience with pageantry as a gateway to give back and raise awareness for charities, has been crowned Mrs. Washington County 2018.
She will now compete in the Oregon America Pageant set for March 17 in West Linn.
A former ranking triathlete and NPC bikini competitor, Lewis says she takes a deep pride in fitness. She has selected the Nashville-based organization Soles4Souls as her platform for the Mrs. Oregon International pageant, raising awareness, funds and secure drop off locations for the collection of new and used shoes given to people in need.
In 2011 she helped promote "Heart and Sole;" an event celebrating the love for shoes, which raised money for charity.
Lewis said she is excited about her new title of Mrs. Washington County 2018 because it will allow her to represent the Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals.
A wife and mother of three children, she also works as a real estate agent.
The winner of the statewide Oregon America Pageant will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the National Mrs. America Competition worth $3000, and other cash and prizes worth over $10,000.
