New signage urges drivers to slow down and be aware of pedestrians to promote safety.

City Manager Joe Gall recently ordered additional signage for the areas of Meinecke/Smith, by Sherwood High School and Sunset/Myrica Court, by Archer Glen school crossings and Sherwood Public Works got the signs installed. According to Gall, the signs were ordered months ago in response to identified needs. Sherwood Police urge people to make it a habit of driving slowly on all city streets. Sherwood Police said speeding is one of the most common complaints they receive from citizens.
