Sherwood Community Services Fair set May 18
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and the City of Sherwood will co-host the annual Sherwood Community Services Fair on Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sherwood Fire Station 33, 15440 S.W. Oregon St.
Community members of all ages are invited to attend this free community celebration.
The event features fun activities and displays for the whole family, including gator rides, digging into the dirt with a backhoe, squirting water from a fire hose, and climbing inside police vehicles, TVF&R apparatus, and other service agency vehicles.
This annual event provides an important opportunity for the public to learn about the array of community services available in Sherwood and help neighbors and businesses prepare for emergencies. Several public and nonprofit agencies will have educational displays providing visitors with information about crime prevention, fire and life safety, recycling and conservation, senior services, schools, health care, and more.
A free lunch will be provided (while they last).
