The Sherwood Education Foundation's annual fundraiser supports teacher grants in Sherwood schools.

The Sherwood Education Foundation has been holding the annual fundraiser since 2017 to raise money for grants to teachers in the Sherwood School District. So far, it has raised over $155,000 since it was started.

The upcoming event is from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Sherwood Center for the Arts, located at 22689 S.W. Pine St. in Old Town Sherwood.

Presenting sponsors are BRIC, Cornerstone and Skanska. Other sponsorship partners include 503 Uncorked, Aviatrix, Balzer Painting, Bittner Dentistry for Kids, Marie Boatsman Real Estate Broker, Columbia Bank, Dutch Bros., Bill and Beth Farnum, Fox Real Estate Group, Mantalas Communications, Chris and Kambri McDonald, Mudpuddles, Sherwood Plumbing, Spellabration, Valley Landscape, and Vine to Vine.

The money that is raised through Sip & Spell allows the foundation to fund more teacher grants, supporting its mission of improving educational opportunities in Sherwood schools.
