Doyel earns implant credential, Backen named to energy services board
Doyel earns implant dentistry credential
Sherwood dentist Dr. Nathan Doyel was recently recognized as an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry at its annual conference held in New Orleans. Doyel, who owns New Smiles, becomes one of only 760 dentists to hold this distinguished credential.
To qualify, Doyel completed a minimum of 300 hours of post-doctoral instruction in implant dentistry, performed implants and passed the academy's associate fellow examination.
The examination process measured Doyel's clinical proficiency in surgical and prosthetic dental implant techniques, in-depth knowledge of dental implants and commitment to excellence in practice and to the American Academy of Implant Dentistry's standards for ethics and patient welfare.
Established in 1951, the AAID is the only dental implant organization that offers credentials recognized by U.S. state and federal courts.
